Participation in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker is voluntary. Any data held in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker will only be used for the purpose of the Simplifying the Business BCBP project in order to facilitate global implementation. The data will not be passed on to third parties within or outside IATA, however specific data elements will be visible to all participants and published on the StB Support Portal. Participation in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker does not imply that other methods of facilitating BCBP implementation should not or would not be used by any participant or non-participant. Use of the IATA BCBP Matchmaker neither imposes, nor implies, any obligation on any party.
Information sent to a participant in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker is for information purposes only and does not in itself provide the basis of a commercial agreement. Any party using information derived from the IATA BCBP Matchmaker service in a commercial agreement does so at their own risk and is advised to take competent professional advice before doing so.
IATA will make reasonable efforts to ensure secure operation of the IATA BCBP Matchmaker; however IATA will not accept liability for any consequences arising from the use of the IATA BCBP Matchmaker by any party.
IATA will make reasonable efforts to keep users of the IATA BCBP Matchmaker informed of developments in the service in a timely manner, however IATA retains the right to modify the IATA BCBP Matchmaker in any way, including withdraw it, at any time without notice.
Any participant in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker may give notice to withdraw at any time. To withdraw from the service, the registered contacts do so by e-mail, to bcbpmm@iata.org. Withdrawal from the IATA BCBP Matchmaker will be implemented within reasonable delay. Any information relating to a participant that withdraws from the service would be permanently, i.e. irrevocably, removed from the system if so explicitly requested.
The IATA BCBP Matchmaker may automatically send notifications to participants. If a participant wishes to change their registered contact, they should do so using the Profile page in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker.
Participation in the IATA BCBP Matchmaker should only be made if the above conditions are acceptable.
